IRONBOUND RUNNING OFF THE TRACKS AS SEASON GETS INTO FULL SWING!!!

The 2009 season is off and running. The Ironbound boys teams have started off on fire. For the months of April and May up through May 19th,the club as a whole has accumulated 13 wins losses and 1 tie. The Director of the Elite programs at Ironbound ,Joe Salgado says, "This is truly a tremendous start to the 2009 Super Y season, the coaches and the players felt that they wanted to get a good start and the teams have accomplished that. They keep working hard and look to continue on their early success". The season is in it's early stages but it looks like a great start for Ironbound teams so far.

Team updates:

The U13 team FURY that is coached by Omid Namazi,assisted by Manny Pinho and managed by Zaida Santos. The team has started off with a quick 2-0 start. Their next game is scheduled for June 6th vs. Quickstrike.

The U14 team INTER has started off on fire. They are off to a 5-0 mark and are leading the group with 15 points. The team is coached by Joe Gonzalves, assisted by John Soares and Romeu Neves and the team manager is Gina Gonzalves. Their next game is scheduled for June 6th vs. Perugia Grifos.

The U15 team PREDATORS has been playing extremely well. They have kicked their campaign off with a 4-0-1 record and are sitting on top of the leader board. The team is coached by Alex Velasquez and David Texiera and the team manager is Herminia Marques. Their next game is scheduled for May 20th vs. TSF.

The U16 team COSMOS has started off with a 2-2 record. The have played very hard and are looking to keep things going in a positive manner. A few bounces her and there , the team may have been 4-0. The team is coached by Kevin East, assisted by Doug DaRocha and the team manager is Robert Fredricks. Their next scheduled game is May 20th vs.PDA.

The U17 team STRIKERS team has played only one game so far in the early season and they are 0-1 on hard fought 2-1 loss vs. the Rage. The team is coached by Anthony Flores and assisted and managed by Anthony Yulan. Their next scheduled game is May 20th vs.PDA.

The U20 team season will begin on May 30th. Their first game is scheduled vs. Harlem FC. The team is coached by Joe Salgado and Carlos Rasoilio. Team is looking forward to another positive season.
