Ironbound SC Under-20 team is a unique opportunity to develop and excel in a competitive training and game environment throughout the summer. The team will compete in the USL’s Super-20 League which provides the platform for top 17-20 year olds in the United States and Canada to compete at the elite level.
USL Super-20 League features teams competing in four regional conferences, consisting of 8-10 regular season matches throughout the summer months. While serving in partnership as reserve team for the Premier Development League’s Ironbound Express, the Ironbound SC Under-20 teams will offer opportunity to play at a higher level.
Rui DosSantos will serve as Head Coach of the Super-20 League side, a former youth coach with Ironbound and currently Varsity Head Coach at Bergen Catholic High School. The team’s General Manager will be John M. Soares.
Tryouts for the 2010 season will be at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Soccer Stadium in Newark, New Jersey on:
-Saturday, February 27 at 6PM ET (Postponed)
-Sunday, February 28 at 6 PM ET. (Postponed)
A second tryout will be held on:
-Saturday, March 27 at 6:00 PM ET
-Sunday, March 28 at 6:00 PM ET
