Ironbound SC Elite win U13 Boys

In the opening game of the tournament, maybe reflecting the early 7:30 am Saturday start, the Ironbound SC Elite allowed the Syosset Surge to get the best of them by a 2-3 score, the Ironbound goals were scored by Josh Liviapoma and Gabriel Dos Santos. The loss would serve as the motivating factor for the rest of the day, as Ironbound SC Elite defeated Levittown Stormbringers 4-0 (goals by Louis DePalma (3) and Jorge Liviapoma) and Commack Soccer Academy 6-3, with goals from Louis DePalma(2), Lucas Lech, Gabriel dos Santos, Joh Liviapoma, and Jorge Liviapoma.
The early games are not conducive to the Ironbound side as they struggled early Sunday to defeat East Islip Avalanche 2-1, with goals from Gabriel Dos Santos, and Jorge Liviapoma. As the ISC Elite team headed to the final game, to play Dix Hills SC SS Elite, they knew that a tie would get them the championship, however they did not leave anything to the imagination, and won 4-1, goals by Louis DePalma, Gabriel Dos Santos, Jorge Liviapoma, and Josh Liviapoma, and thus bringing home the Cup.
