REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Developmental soccer is designed to teach players soccer skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in an environment where participation and fun are the focus, not competition. Developmental soccer is a learning program for youth players organized by Ironbound Soccer Club.
AGES: The program is designed of boys and girls from the ages of 3 to 14 (must have been born in 2011 or later).
LOCATION: Practices and games will be held in parks, and or facilities within the Ironbound. Locations will be communicated based on session.
REGISTRATION: You may register in person on Tuesdays and Friday from 6 pm to 8 pm, at the Ironbound Soccer Club, 11 Providence St, Newark, NJ 07105. :
ONLINE REGISTRATION
All registrations require an application, 1 pictures, and proof of age (copy of birth certificate, or passport)
Registrations are open all year and are accepted on a rolling basis
2025 SPRING SESSION TIMELINE
· The schedule on Saturdays may change. Do not assume that the time you had this Saturday, is the same for the following week.
· The first two weekends 4/5/25 and 4/12/25 are practice sessions.
· On or about 4/16/25 players will be placed on teams. This information will be posted on the website.
o Returning players from the fall or indoor/winter, may stay on the same team, and will use the same uniform.
o New players will receive their uniforms prior to the first game on Saturday, 4/19/25.
· The practice schedule will be distributed and announced on 4/19/25. Practices will start on Monday, April 21, 2025.
o Must wear white training t-shirt, shin guards (covered by socks), and soccer appropriate shoes
· All games and practices will take place at:
o Independence Park - Adams St, Newark, NJ
No jewelry is allowed. Hats are not allowed.
· Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
· Parents are not allowed on the field!!!

FEES:
SPRING ONLY $215
(*) You only receive one training shirt per year. Uniforms may change each season.
(**) $10 discount on each additional child
TRAINING SHIRTS: Players will receive their training shirts at registration. Training shirts must be worn for all training sessions. Players receive one training shirt per year.
UNIFORMS: Players will receive their uniform, during the first weekend of scheduled games. Uniforms must be worn for all games. (Uniforms consist of jersey, black shorts, and black socks.)
WEATHER: Cancellations will be posted on the website.
